Key Performance Features

Heavy-Traffic & Tear Resistance

High-modulus elasticity resists puncture, shear stress, and mechanical abrasion from forklifts, heavy trucks, and pedestrian traffic.

Chemical & Fuel Immunity

Formulated to resist fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, and mild chemical splashes, making it ideal for industrial floors and transport hubs.

±25% Dynamic Joint Movement

Accommodates thermal expansion and contraction in concrete pavements and floor slabs without debonding or cracking.

Substructure Water Barrier

Provides a watertight seal for subterranean joints, water containment structures, and civil engineering infrastructure under continuous pressure.

Application & Surface Prep Guide

Joint Preparation

Concrete must be fully cured (minimum 28 days old) and dry. Remove all dust, laitance, grease, and former sealant residue using mechanical wire brushing or grinding.

Insert a suitable closed-cell PE backer rod to set correct sealant depth. Apply masking tape to joint edges to ensure sharp, clean seal lines.

Apply LP-FlexJoint 800 using a manual, battery, or pneumatic caulking gun in a continuous motion to prevent air entrapment. Tool immediately with a spatula for tight joint wall contact. Remove masking tape before skin forms.

Protect from direct water exposure during initial skinning. Allow 24–48 hours of curing before permitting light foot traffic, and 4–7 days before exposing to heavy vehicular loads.
