LP-Inject PU 800

Hydrophobic Polyurethane Chemical Injection Resin

Expansion Ratio: Up to 30x |
Viscosity: 200 - 350 mPa·s |
Standards: EN 1504-5 / ASTM D2849|

LP-Inject PU 800 is a premium single-component, solvent-free hydrophobic polyurethane chemical injection resin designed for heavy-duty leak sealing in concrete cracks, expansion joints, and honeycomb structures. Upon contact with water, it rapidly reacts and expands up to 30 times its original volume to form a tough, rigid closed-cell foam that completely stops high-pressure water ingress.

Key Performance Features

High Hydrophobic Expansion (30x)

Reacts vigorously with water to expand up to 3000%, penetrating deep into structural voids and micro-cracks to form a dense, watertight seal.

Low Viscosity Penetration

Ultra-low viscosity (200–350 mPa·s) enables deep injection into tight hair-line dynamic cracks without requiring high pump line pressures.

Closed-Cell Rigid Foam Structure

Forms a chemically stable, non-shrink, closed-cell rigid foam matrix that resists permanent hydrostatic pressure and aggressive groundwater chemicals.

Controlled Reaction Speed

Reaction time can be easily adjusted using LP-Cat accelerator to match various water flow volumes and ambient site temperatures.

Application & Surface Prep Guide

Drilling & Packer Installation

Drill injection holes at a 45° angle towards the crack, intersecting the crack midpoint. Insert mechanical high-pressure injection packers and tighten securely.

Flush cracks with clean water if necessary to test crack connectivity and provide moisture required for resin reaction.

Mix LP-Inject PU 800 with the appropriate percentage of LP-Cat accelerator (1% - 10% based on required speed). Pour mixture into a single-component high-pressure injection pump.

Inject LP-Inject PU 800 systematically from lower packers to upper ones until resin/foam exudation is observed at adjacent ports. Allow to expand and seal.

After complete cure, remove injection packers and seal the drill holes using LP-Plug Mortar 100 for a flush, watertight finish.
