LP-Paste Metallic 500 is a high-performance, two-component metallic-reinforced elastomeric repair paste designed for emergency leak sealing, seam reinforcement, and structural repair on metal tanks, pipes, and stainless steel assemblies. Formulated with zero-sag thixotropic properties and excellent damp-surface adhesion, it cures to form a dense, impact-resistant, chemical-proof seal that prevents fluid migration under pressure.

Application & Surface Prep Guide

Surface Preparation & Degreasing

Degrease metal surface using industrial solvent. Grit-blast or mechanically grind metal using a wire wheel/sanding disc to obtain a clean, rough metallic anchor profile.

Mix Component A and Component B according to the specified mixing ratio (1:1 or 2:1 by volume/weight as specified on label) on a clean mixing board until a uniform metallic grey color without streaking is achieved.

Apply LP-Paste Metallic 500 using a putty knife or spatula. Press firmly into seams, pitted areas, or crack gaps to expel trapped air and ensure 100% surface wet-out. Build up layer to minimum 2–3 mm thickness over joint margins.

Allow to cure at room temperature. After full cure (24 hours), the compound can be sanded, drilled, painted, or mechanically machined if required.
